The British gaming sector is preparing for its inaugural Responsible Gaming Week, scheduled for October 12th to 18th. This extensive initiative, led by the Industry Group for Responsible Gambling (IGRG), will involve the participation of numerous betting shops, bingo venues, casinos, and internet-based operators, encompassing a workforce of over 121,000 individuals.

The primary objective will be to heighten awareness regarding responsible gaming practices. Businesses will be diligently educating patrons about the inherent risks and promoting resources that contribute to maintaining a safe and pleasurable gaming experience.

Sir Christopher Kelly, Chairman of the Responsible Gambling Strategy Board, underscored the significance of public involvement in enhancing gaming safety. He commended the IGRG’s week-long campaign and its slogan, “Let’s Discuss Responsible Gaming,” encouraging all to utilize this occasion to acquire knowledge and effect positive change.
