Global gaming giants, International Game Technology (IGT) and Scientific Games (SG), have extended their existing partnerships with the Nebraska and Massachusetts state lotteries.
IGT’s subsidiary, IGT Global Solutions, has inked a seven-year deal with the Nebraska Lottery to be the state’s primary provider of instant and draw games, along with related services.
The agreement will see IGT upgrade the lottery’s central system to its Aurora solution, and will furnish its terminal equipment at around 1,200 retail locations throughout the state.
Meanwhile, Scientific Games (SG) has been granted a new five-year contract from the Massachusetts State Lottery Commission (MSLC) to provide instant games, second-chance promotions, and digital interactive programs for the state’s lottery.
SG’s new contract, which can be prolonged by the MLSC for up to two years, expands to encompass consumer digital services to engage players through second-chance game features.
Since producing the first instant game for the Massachusetts Lottery in 1974, SG’s new contract will extend the vendor’s association with the lottery to over 50 years.
