A digital betting company, Betway, has joined forces with Cricket South Africa (CSA), the governing body for the sport in the nation.
This three-year pact will see Betway become the official partner of CSA. The betting company will be the main sponsor of the men’s national team’s one-day internationals and test matches.
Betway will also be recognized as the official sponsor of the men’s Twenty20 team and the South African women’s national team.
“This collaboration will enable us to connect with supporters on a larger scale, signing with this global giant is like hitting a six to win the match,” stated CSA Chief Commercial Officer Kugandrie Govender.
“It’s exciting to develop a mutually beneficial relationship with an organization that has integrity and will assist in propelling the growth of cricket in the country, while we also achieve their objectives.”
Betway CEO Anthony Werkman added: “We already have a diverse collection of sports investments, which demonstrates our commitment to cricket.”
The South African squad will be back in competition at the year’s close, and we are eager to witness their performance across all areas.
