Sportradar has inked a significant agreement with the Turkish Basketball Federation (TBF).
This arrangement signifies that Sportradar will furnish the TBF with a plethora of cutting-edge technology and provide assistance with their competitions. They will utilize specialized cameras to monitor the players and ensure fairness.
Sportradar will also aid the TBF in disseminating their games to fans globally. This will contribute to the enhanced popularity of Turkish basketball.
The agreement encompasses all the major leagues in Turkey, including the premier division and the second tier.
The European head of Sportradar expressed his enthusiasm for this collaboration, believing it will foster further growth in Turkish basketball.
Commencing this campaign, the organization will possess the global broadcasting privileges for all BSL and TBL contests, along with cup matches, and will secure domestic broadcasting rights in the subsequent season.
Hidayet Türkoğlu, the head of the Turkish Basketball Federation, remarked that in the contemporary sporting landscape, the use of technology is critical and essential. By entering into an accord with Sportradar, the Turkish Basketball Federation will gain the capacity to leverage cutting-edge technology to monitor team and player advancement.
“We are convinced that our collaboration with Sportradar will have a substantial effect on Turkish basketball,” Türkoğlu stated. “This arrangement will propel the evolution of Turkish basketball in alignment with the Turkish Basketball Federation’s objectives and outlook. I extend my gratitude to all individuals who contributed to the finalization of our agreement with Sportradar.”
In June, Sportradar inked a comparable technology-driven content pact with ParionsSport en Ligne, the online sports wagering branch of French operator Française des Jeux (FDJ). The company also recently declared its intent to acquire payment solutions provider Aleda.
